Frova works by attaching itself to certain areas in the brain regulates its actions and thus leading to vasoconstriction of the blood vessels in the brain, then causing a reduction in the flow of blood in the cranial vessels thereby helping to stop migraines.
How to store Frova.
Store away from direct sunlight and heat.
Store at room temperature between 15˚C-30˚C.
Do not store in a humid place (bathroom).
Keep in a well closed container.
Keep out of the reach of children.

There are no approved generic brands of Frovatriptan approved by the FDA for use in USA.

How and when to take Frova?
The recommended dose of Frova is 2.5 mg, the choice of dose should be made on individual doses, because people tend to vary in their response to the doses consumed.
A second dose can be repeated after two hours if the headache reoccurs.
The max daily dose should not exceed 7.5 mg and Frovatriptan should not be used to treat more than four migraine attacks within 30 days.

What if I overdose on Frova?
If you accidentally overdose on Frova, seek immediate medical advice or call the Poison Helpline at 1-800-222-1222.
Antidote: in cases of overdose, the stomach most be emptied as soon as possible by inducing vomiting, activated charcoal may also be used.
What if I miss a doses of Frova?
Frova should only be taken as needed, therefore the chances of missing a dose are rare. However two doses should not be taken within two hours of each other.
