Luveris 75 IU Fertility Drug

Luveris 75 iu belongs to the class of hormonal medication called gonadotrophins. It contains lutropin alfa as the active ingredient which is a recombinant form of the luteinizing hormone similar to that found naturally in the human body. This medication is used together with other fertility drugs and is recommended for use in women whose pituitary glands don’t produce enough LH. It boosts the development of follicles in the ovaries and this controls the reproduction process at large.


Luveris drug is available in form of a sterile white powder and solvent. The white powder in a vial contains 75 iu of Lutropin alfa in packs of 1, 3 or 10 vials; each with a corresponding number of 1 ml solvent for injection.


Luveris Dosage


The dosage for this drug lasts for a period of 14 days but may vary slightly depending on the doctor’s prescription and the health status. The usual dose is 75 iu of lutrophin alpha injected under the skin, once a day. Proper injection skills are vital, doctor’s appointments and schedule must be followed to the latter.
